Platte County senior Maddie Klippenstein returned from injury late in the season and earned all-state honors on a relay and honorable mention all-state accolades in the 100-yard breaststroke to help the Pirates finish ninth as a team in the Class 1 Missouri State Swimming and Diving Championships last month.
