Platte County junior Palmer Boekhout scored a second half goal to help the Pirates to a 3-0 win over St. Joseph Central in their home opener. He talked about a revamped lineup from last year’s Class 3 state runnerup squad and coming back from a loss to Raytown South two days earlier.
