Platte County senior wide receiver Dayton Mitchell had a breakout game with three touchdown catches in the Pirates’ 28-7 win over Smithville on Friday. The highlight was a 70-yarder in the second quarter but he also had a click toe-tap scoring catch late that sealed the win.
